Sarpidon Apartments - Malia (Crete)

The staff were excellent, consistently going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay, while the pool area was a fantastic space to unwind, especially in the evenings. A variety of local sweets on the menu added a good touch to our dining experience, complementing the excellent food options available. While the bar could get a bit crowded at times, it was clear that everyone enjoyed the atmosphere.

The units are immaculate, elegant.

Location near to the shops and restaurants, and nice restaurants. Very comfy beds & brand-new rooms. Free parking on-site provided.

The in-house cocktail service featured unique drinks.

The self-catering facilities were very minimalistic, lacking essential items like a toaster or microwave.

Best vibes & cozy beds!

Had such a fab time at this place! The poolside snack bar was our go-to for quick bites. Those smoothies were life! The rooms were comfy, but don't expect fancy kitchen stuff like a toaster. It got a bit noisy in the evenings, but we had a blast overall!

Enjoyed a lovely week with my family, soaking up the sun by the sparkling pool and indulging in tasty food from the bar that kept us coming back for more. The outdoor sun loungers were perfect for chilling out after a swim, and the garden area provided a nice escape for relaxation. Only downside was the kitchen could use a few more utensils for those who like to self-cater. still, it's a great spot for a family getaway! 😊

We really enjoyed our stay, the staff were cute! One night we had this amazing chicken burger from the bar that could rival any five-star restaurant.

Wasn't exactly cheap, but prices were still acceptable for the quality offered.

The air conditioning was a bit of a letdown since it only effectively cooled the living room and left the bedroom feeling warm, requiring us to request a fan. We also noticed the kitchenette was quite basic. A toaster or additional utensils would have made our self-catering efforts more comfortable. While our overall experience was good, there were some annoying noise disturbances late at night that crept in from the nearby bar area, which might not suit light sleepers. The hotel layout was somewhat confusing initially, with narrow access routes, made arriving a bit of a hassle. Charging for air conditioning and a safe felt a bit steep on top of the overall cost, which could add up quickly. Lastly, the neighborhood had a tired look, which somewhat affected our overall vibe.

The location made it super easy to explore old town Malia, which we loved! Remember to bring your own snacks since the kitchen is limited.

All good, fulfills its purpose. Room was very clean with superb linens.
